Carl Schuricht and Gabriel Saab were close friends, since in the late 1940's Gabriel Saab sponsored the conductor's first concert in Paris (Beethoven, Symphony No.9). Dr. Saab helped archiphon in issuing its Carl Schuricht Edition on CD.
